The Tutor by K. Larsen

There were so many great quotes. K Larsen has a way with words. I’m going to try and fit them all into my review.

K Larsen captured the mind of how a woman thinks and feel in a very toxic relationship.

Comparing Nora to an abusive relationship seems wrong, but the mentality is the same none the less.

We all ask why the woman stays, when the relationship is bad or abusive.

“We all consume lies when our souls are starved.
And I consumed the most- willingly.”

Nora, explained this wonderful. Does it make it healthy or right? No.

It just is.

She fell in love with a man, and she would constantly search for that man. The man he was “before”.

“He was busy finding faults in me, while I was busy overlooking his.”

She will battle her heart and mind, and the questions is, Which will win?

“Captivity is a mentality.  A thing you carry with you. It is hard to let go even when you have your freedom returned.”

It’s a sad, and eye opening book, or for some it may be relatable to some degree.

“All this time, I treated him like the cure, when he was the poison.”

I would recommend this to about anyone. It’s a dark, and its heartbreaking, but it’s also very true.

I look forward to the next book.
